I'm a newcomer to the Hero system and a recent subscriber to Digital Hero. I'd like to tell anyone still on the fence about subscribing to go ahead and do it. DH is probably one of the best bargains in gaming, as far as I'm concerned.

IIRC, for $30, you get 10, 64 page issues. Figure a couple of those pages are table of contents and such. After that, you end up with basically a 620 page supplement for $30. We've probably all paid that for books less than half that size.

I'm not getting anything from Hero for saying this. I just think it's a really good product.

Yes, yes, yes. We know Steve has offered you a 5 issue extention for saying all those nice things. :)

I agree with you completely. I would pay $30.00 a year just to get the monthly HERO Universe and You Gotta Have Character articles alone. I have already used a couple of the Champions modules as well and I am sure I will use more from future issues. Dave should be quite proud of the work he is doing on DH. It is a wonderful product.

I'll third those sentiments. Every issue of DH has something of use to any genre of HERO gaming, and usually interesting things for gamers in any system. Characters, rules updates and options, universe expansions, adventures, GMing and roleplaying tips, all in a well-layed out package with good to very good artwork. And as has been said, the subscription price is unbeatable.
