The big issue with why we could never have Champions Clix is that there is not enough brand recognition for it to seem reasonable.

However what if you combined forces with such people as Silver Age Sentinels and Mutants and Masterminds to have a set of

RPG Clix?

I would think the general fear the 3 companies would have is that the clix would become more popular than the rpgs they are based from. Plus, SAS already has a miniature line, and I would not doubt that M&M is working on establishing one as well.

I also think that it is fairly expensive for whiz kids to make the basic figures, so they would need a guaranteed return rate for them just to break even, and I do not think even an entire RPG line would be enough to justify the initial expense. I would be cool though, but trying to decide the combat stats might be a pain in the butt.

I'm betting it all goes back to the "we aren't planning anything but if they want to organize something they can contact us" thing.
