Go to first unread post

When I go to read an old thread, one of the options to click on, along with the page numbers, is Go to first unread post (or something like that). I have used this option effectively on other boards, but here on the Hero boards it always seems to take me to the very last post in the thread, even if several new posts have appeared since the last time I logged on. Is it broken, or am I doing something wrong?

My question is why do all of the all "Go to first uread post" markers suddenly disappear withou me leaving the boards?

When you've finished a session, click the "mark all forums read" link at the bottom. The next time you log on, it should work fine.
