Confessions of a Pedantic GM

So, I had my daughter at my house last weekend. My wife and step-daughter had gone shopping. I knew Hannah and I had to entertain ourselves. I had to work for an hour or so and took Hannah into the office with me. I made a quick stop at Hero Central and showed Hannah a picture of a combat scene done with miniatures and I could tell she was intrigued.

This was possibly the best chance I had to hook her with RPGing. "Ya know Hannah, I have minis at home and we could use them to play ...

I have too many hobbies. I play basketball in a men's league, National Level tournament paintball, a poker league, and game. The majority of my gaming stems from online play by post at Hero Central these days, but I miss the break-neck speed (compared to pby) of face to face.

Oh, I work at least forty hours a week, I'm married with a twelve year old step-daughter and my daughter (from a previous marriage) is eight now and lives with her mother. That whole triangle is a whole 'nother ...
