Checkmate

I've been wondering for awhile now what to do with this. I was really inspired to write up Booster Gold, but as I was thinking about his stats, I started wondering about things. Whenever I look at these characters in my mind I think about what I can shave off be able to use them in someone else's game, so I started thinking about just making a 350 point Booster Gold using stats from a "typical" Champions game. I finished the latest installment of my project, Spider-Man a few days ago, but my ISP was doing some work on on the personal web pages I use for my site increasing the capacity from something like 40MB to 400MB or some such (10MB to 10GB maybe? I don't remember). There was a lot I wanted to say about this build, but it's been so long I've pretty much forgotten it all. I wrote some of it down in the Campaign Use section of the character sheet.

I finished Iron Fist. I'm rather happy with the way he came out. I got lazy on the Martial Maneuvers, and just gave him all the maneuvers for Kung-Fu in the UMA, but I think it fits. I also really dig Iron Fist, so he may be a bit more powerful than some of the others, but again my project my rules.

I decided to leave the X-Men alone tonight and hit up the Avengers. Looking through the roster I saw a neat looking picture of Black Knight. I've always had a sort of fondness for the character, but never really kept up with him, so I figured what the hey.

Long story short, the character is MUCH different than when I read the Avengers, but I still thought he was pretty neat, so I did my best.

Psylocke is up. I don't know if I'm just feeling uninspired or what my deal is, but I'm not entirely happy with her skills. I couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted to do, if I wanted to use some of her retcon'd origin, or just use her early X-Men appearances, so a lot of times I flip-flopped back and forth. I like her powers, and the visibility is the butterfly that used to be her power effect. I'm pretty sure other people could see it, because I remember Rogue saying something about it. ...
