FireTiger's "If folks don't read these, I may as well avoid cluttering the forums" blog

My first idea for this is to use it as a kind of projects page. The basic premise will likely change, but for now I'll be tinkering with some game mechanics ideas. (Heh, didn't really take long to drift into other things, I guess.) And, as I mention in the title, I can do it without cluttering up forum threads.

Until I've finished with an idea, anyway.

  1. The Call of Cthulhu part of My Collection

I and my stuff are again in different places, so I've only one entry to put here at the moment:

Call of Cthulhu D20 (Built from pre-errata D&D 3.0 rules, this can be used to introduce d20 gamers to CoC or add some really nasty surprises to a d20 campaign.)

A few creatures from here have wriggled their way into the first and second Bestiaries for the Pathfinder RPG.

(I was able to obtain a new copy of the book from Troll & Toad through Amazon.com.) ...

  3. Minor Project Update

Well now -- once I get the chance to pick-up some of my gaming material from the other side of the state, I do want to finish this little project. Of course, during its hiatus Hero has gone from 5ER to 6E, which will mean a bit more work.

I intend on finishing the harder to convert powers from the original Superworld to 5ER. I can then go back through and create 6E versions.

I'm debating on doing the same with the powers from the stand-alone Superworld game, but I'll ...

  4. Time keeps on slippin' / slippin' / slippin'

Well now -- change of plans again. I've moved three times so far since November '09, so I've a need to find players once again.

I've a few of the 6E books now (and added them to the appropriate collection list), and am tinkering with a BGC-inspired campaign. (Last time I used that setting, I was running Mekton II.)

Another idea was a mix of the BGC and Champions universes, which might be tricky to accomplish.

I may be able to get a game up & running ...

New items added to this list will appear for a brief time in bold text.
