Asking questions is the first step of character creation. What's my character's name? What does he do? How and why did he become a hero? These are some of the basic questions everybody asks. But there are others that usually don't get asked, mainly because they seem silly or unimportant, that can help develop a character's background and personality. Here are a few:

P.S. I tried to weed out the obvious questions about things like hobbies, favorite foods, favorite color, etc. But a few slipped through the cracks because I liked the way they were phrased.
