Cellular Smoke Signals

I finalized and sent off the first Sixth Edition Master Index to Steve today, there are only five books so it's a small PDF at the moment. Nothing like the over 400 page monster of the previous Ultimate Index. Yet. This time I decided to include a list of Modifiers (Advantages, Limitations and Adders) in the back for reference as well.

I also finally went over and put together the ideas I had on Spells As Skills into a cool little PDF document that I'll be posting to the boards and sharing soon here.

Beyond that, I've finished prepping all the needed parts for an Online Index, including site formatting and such, and have started to actually add information to everything. I ended up going with PMWiki, which is a nice suite of tools that doesn't require database access, and the customization I understand enough of to actually tweak things a bit to my desires.

Now, it's just a matter of sitting down and creating 30,000 or so pages of Index entries. A daunting task. When I feel I get enough of it done I'll post a link, until then I'll be pouring over the books as I add info and cross links to the things. Maybe somewhere around the letter M I'll share.

Someday I'll get back to book reviews. I still have to finish writing my review of 6E2 as well as half a dozen other books.
