My Traveller Game - The beginning, part 2

I’m using the County of Ukse setting from Out of the Darkness as a starting place for this campaign. With so many of my players unfamiliar with Traveller in general, it helps to start them in a place that has a fair amount of material pre-generated.
So, the new captain of the Outer Limit, Aston Voight, has a lot to figure out. First, its almost 150 years later than when he went into low berth. Second, he’s in an unfamiliar area of space. Third, everything he knew about the universe is pretty much trashed now. Good thing someone friendly thawed him out. In return for saving his life, and letting him keep the ship – the Universe is a bit more cutthroat than it used to be – Voight gets to be in the service of the Count of Ukse. Not a bad arrangement in the long run. In return for helping to secure, stabilize, and expand the County, Voight gets a knighthood and a small stipend from which to start operations.
The Outer Limit, being a modified free trader, does not have a lot of cargo space. But what it does have is a superior set of sensors and enhanced Jump engines, giving it a much better range than other short range free traders. It started life in the Third Imperium as a custom built research vessel. It plied around the old Spinward Marches looking for jump space anomalies and researching ways to break the J6 limit. So now it and Voight travel around the edge of the new Fourth Imperium, looking for valuable salvage, and ways to create new business ventures that will profit the County.
