So along with Pulp Hero one of my favorite Pulp games is Amazing Adventures. Much like Pulp Hero, AA has a group of pre-generated characters as well. They are fifth level characters and since I have been getting back into running Pulp Hero and since I like both games I have decided to try and convert these characters to my all time favorite system. Now, since they are very different systems I am not going to try and do a direct conversion as that will be too difficult. Instead I am just get as close as I can to the concept of the characters. Any comments and suggestions will be appreciated. So here is the leader of the team.

I figured Pulp Hero GMs might have fun with this bit of news, link below Jade Mosaic Mask Discovered in Tomb of Mysterious Maya King in Guatemala Because ancient relics and hints of a tale of a king beheading a god mighhhht make for a good plot seed

Character sheet uploaded to: https://www.herogames.com/files/file/636-dominopdf/ I had very low expectations going into this, mostly because of the trashy Domino Lady comics put out by Moonstone and Eros. I know, a pulp snob calling comic books trashy. The hypocrisy!!! But I was pleasantly surprised by the original stories from Saucy Romantic Adventures. They are quick reads, about 20 pages each. A typical plot breakdown: someone being blackmailed asks The Domino Lady for help, or The Domino Lady is casing a big score. She will meet with one of her contacts. If the contact is tall and handsome, a make-out s…

Indiana Jones always has a cool opening scene. Can you think of a cool 1935-era opening for a pulp game? There are some criteria: -Imagine it is for a group of low-powered PC's, meaning there have to be obstacles, rolls, and a feeling that they are doing something and making decisions rather than passively experiencing something -It should have some element of spectacle, like, I think every Indiana Jones opening has that element -It should have a pulp feeling if possible Thoughts? Ideas?

Posted this on Facebook and Twitter, why not here. Peanuts Manor of Mystery. Linus summoning the Great Pumpkin in 1930s. WWI ace Chuck Brown and his co-pilot/Beagle Snoopy. Peppermint patty and her secretary Marcie (Marcie served in the war and due to shell shock calls most people "Sir") Schroeder is a concert pianist and Lucy has come back from overseas studying under Freud and others. Sally is Linus' maid so she can be close to her "sweet baboo". Pigpen is the caretaker and has been under Linus' thumb for so long he's the Igor/rienfield of the gang. Franklin is the butler (no jeers it IS the 30s). You can't tell if Pigpen has been gardening or digging graves…

Background: Kindly old Doctor Coffin owns the Mortimer chain of funeral homes in Hollywood. But he is secretly Del Manning, Hollywood actor and the man of 500 faces who has faked his own death so that he can now act freely to solve crimes. His first few adventures follow a familiar pattern - someone is killed in Hollywood, Doctor Coffin makes himself up as the victim and terrifies the guilty into confessing. In later stories he travels to New York to battle such criminals as The Monster of Manhattan and The Chicken King. Personality: When he lived as Del Manning, he avoided the Hollywood social scene, preferring the company of ‘…

I just uploaded two character files (pdf and hdc) for Brian "Coffin" Kirk and his ever-present sidekick, Tank. Arch Whitehouse wrote these aviation pulp characters for Flying Aces magazine. Seven stories were eventually published, which you can read on the Age of Aces website: "Vulture's Vortex" from Flying Aces, v27 #3, October 1937 "Skyguns of Singapore" from Flying Aces v29 #3, June 1938 "Scourge of the Steel Eagles" from Flying Aces v30 #3, October 1938 "Clue of the Breda Brood" from Flying Aces v32 #1, April 1939 “Hawks From the Smoke” from Flying Aces v33 #1, August 1939 "Balloons For a Breda" from Flying Aces v36 #1, August 1940…

So, I was working up some pulp characters into Hero System 6E format, and it occurred to me to wonder what other people may have done? Anybody done up Doc Savage (yes, I've seen Darren Watts' version, I want to see other people's take)? How about G-8 and his Battle Aces? Or Clickell Rush, the Gadget Man?

Was given permission by Steve Long on Facebook to post this. It's not fancy. It should fit pretty well on a 3x5 card or at least some card stock. Mainly did this so I could put mine up somewhere safe and not loose it.

In PULP HEROES Volume I: The Raven and the Midnight Brigade, it lists powers for the Raven e.g. Alchemical Dusts. Where can I find an explanation of how these powers work? Thanks

Is there map of Hudson City as it was back in the 1930s? I'm digging in to Pulp Hero and I'd love to reference a map to Hudson City. I can see there's one for Dark Champions but that's present day? Is there one for the 1930s? Thanks

I don't have the Pulp Hero book, but I was wondering whether it would have stuff/character powers for a colonial America game based in the FIW period? I have this idea for a mixed fantasy and historical game based on my reading of the Crucible of War book by Fred Anderson. It covers the Seven Years War from the American perspective and gives tremendous setting materials for a game to be based on it. I don't know what style to run the game in yet, but I'm fascinated by the period, and the concept of Wilderness War. Maybe I'll throw in some werewolves and goblins.

Hi everyone - running a Justice Inc. (Pulp Hero for the new school) campaign called the Odyssey League on Roll20. Looking for a floorplan/tile map/interior of a DC-2 or DC-3 I can use for a scenario. I've got basic line drawings already I can move tokens around on but using a nice colour map or line drawing with some added details would be ideal. If anyone has spotted on before please let me know. Thanks in advance for your time.

So I created a new public club (hopefully wont get a take down notice/change the name notice from the HERO group) called the Adventurers Club(link). The idea is, it's a place where people can post about their heroes and other things PC character related. While I originally thought of the club for superheroes, any hero should be welcome. There are forum categories for people selling, showing off, or requesting artwork("Press, paparazzi, and fan clubs for the heroes") and Social activities ("At The Bar") like best hero design contests, best costume contest, best backstory contest, meetups at conventions, open gaming invites, etc. For use in a campa…

They were two of the most notorious criminals of the 1930s, so I was wondering if anyone had ever written them up in the Hero System for a Pulp-era game? Would they be above-average in ability, or were they just lucky?
