  1. I am looking for a HERO RPG game in the southern NH area. I live in Nashua, but but will travel 50 or 60 miles for a game (including into MA.) I prefer Champions, but will play Fantasy HERO, Pulp Hero, etc. Any interest?
  2. The original War Wheel 1917

Re: The original War Wheel 1917
  3. Evil foregin powers

Re: Evil foregin powers Remember Rocky & Bullwinkle? Well, Boris and Natasha were from Pottslyvania as I recall. Fearless Leader went underground after the fall of the Soviet Union, but recently has completed his master plan for a coup, and has taken back control of the country, as "President for Life". Now Boris and Natasha are scouring the world looking for "a few good super-villains" to help with Fearless Leader's, I mean President for Life's, new master plan TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
  4. Newspaper Headlines

Re: Newspaper Headlines First check date, is it April first? If not, shake head at strangeness. Make note to keep an eye on the Museum.
  5. Evil foregin powers

Re: Evil foregin powers I may steal, oops I mean borrow, Uridan. Not to quible, but for Maldonica, weren't the Stasi the East German secret police?
  6. A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine It looks more like a machete to me.
  7. Champions

Re: Champions The book is currently out of stock in the on-line store, but the PDF is available. Presumably they are waiting for a new print run for the hardcopy version.
  8. A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine I'm afraid that I don'y get the reference; could you help me here?
  9. Mixing Up Comic Book Ages

Re: Mixing Up Comic Book Ages I don't know where you get this. Every reprint of the Spider pulps that I have read has him as a killer vigilante. Unless we are thinking of different characters with the same name? The Spider, Master of Men. Last year Baen brought out a reprint of some Spider stories in the book: "The Spider and the City of Doom." Is your spider different?
  10. Mixing Up Comic Book Ages

Re: Mixing Up Comic Book Ages Golden age traditionally refers to early superhero comic; the spider was a pulp character who precedes superheroes. Many pulp characters were killer vigilantes.
  11. Create a Hero Theme Team!

Re: Create a Hero Theme Team! I expect that he leaves the card at home. Dr. Dark is a skilled martial artist with a helmet that lets him "see" in total darkness; he has night-vision, IR vision, active sonar and radar. He carries "dark bombs" which provide darkness to normal sight and sound, so he can operate in the dark. He also has a few "super dark bombs" that blot out all vision and hearing. Dark has an armored costume and a few gadgets to help him. In truth, he is an agent of "Project Sunburst", lead by the Supervillian of that name.
  12. A Stranger in Space

Re: A Stranger in Space Since this was in many ways a sequel to the "pulp" adventure set in early WWII, and is itself set in the late 40's or very early 50's, will we be seeing any more of the pulp characters? Your "Letters" story is set in the interim. What are Pattern Ghost, Doc, etc. up to?
