Drop Commandos

Was originally going to put this in "Other Genres" put it sci-fi so I think it belongs here . . .

In any case, has anyone else out there in Herodom read David Webers "Path of the Fury" and if so, have you tried to create one of the Drop Commando's? I've tried a couple of times and just can't seem to come up with anything that I'd be willing to keep/save.

Never heard of Path of the Fury, but I do seem to recall
something similar being done in G.I. Joe (COBRA's
T.A.R.G.A.T. soldiers; Trans-Atmospheric Ground Attack Troop-
ers, IIRC).
