I think we've talked about the wildfires on these boards. Or maybe we hijacked a thread talking about how much better San Diegans are than the peasants in the rest of the country. I'd have to go over my posts to find out.You look like a guy that used to hang at at Game Empire and play the Battletech CCG.

No, that wasnt me. I buy my stuff at GE, but dont hang out there and never played BT CCG. I usually come in after work on the way home as its btwn where I work and live (work at the UT, live in Mira Mesa), buy a Hero Games supplement, maybe look at another book or two from another game, and then leave, walk down to Mysterious Galaxy and spend too much money on signed hardbacks, MAYBE go to Starbucks for a Triple Vente Caramel Machiatto, and then go home to smuggle my purchases past my wife.

Smuggle them past your wife? Dude I do the same thing with my fiance! I can usually work it to hit Game Towne and be home before she is, but it doesn't allways work out. Since I've recently gotten a new job where I'm making signifigantly more money it's not as much of an issue. But she knows where those funny looking yellow grocery bags come from.

So how much Hero stuff does Game Empire carry these days? I haven't been to the new location. Any of the older edition stuff in the used section? Game Towne is where I usually play and buy stuff, and they have a really good special order service. I've had issues with some of the G. Empire staff in the past, that's why I haven't been back. Used to play CCGs there like every day. God I hope I don't ever play those again.

I havent been to GE since I bought UNTIL DoF, but they typically have a good selection of HEROs stuff prominently displayed. I dont like the staff there much either, though there are a couple of guys that are decent enough. I just hate going into Old Town, and GT:OT doesnt have enough parking.

You should check out the new GE location; lots more floor space, never had a problem getting parking, and so forth. Of course, the old store was next to Trophys and a decent Chinese place, and was around the corner from my office so I could go to Hazard Center on my lunch break, eat pretty well, and still have time to cruise through there before heading back to work. But oh well, cant have everything
