Whoever came up with Dark Champions: The Animated Series deserves a big pat on the back. That just sounds so unbelievably cool.
Heck, there's a LOT of stuff on that list I really want to get my grubby little paws on ...

It's an idea Chris Avellone and I had, lo these many years ago. I'm just sort of updating it to present times and production methods.![]()

Given that Batman: TAS often uses nutty villians like Joker, Two-Face and the Riddler, don't you think that Dark Champions: TAS would be the perfect place to reintroduce CLOWN?![]()

Hmm... I'm not so sure this would be the appropriate place for CLOWN. The B:tAS villains are mostly loons, to be sure, but lethal loons; not at all the annoying but harmless kooks from CLOWN. Black Harlequin is more in that tradition IMHO.
Anyway, it's become pretty clear that CLOWN will never make a Hero Games comeback under Steve Long's watch. I'm afraid they'll have to content themselves with hazing Professor Muerte, Bora, Neutron, Seeker and the rest of the gang in RPG Limbo.
There will be no re-introduction of CLOWN, that I can promise you.
As LL points out, Black Harlequin makes a fine character for that sort of villain if you need him -- in fact, he's so cool I almost considered keeping him out of CKC to save for DC:TAS. He'll be on the list of "mainstream Champions villains easily adapted to DC:TAS" that will go in the DC:TAS chapter of villains (which'll feature a bunch of "theme" villains such as Penny Dreadful, Serpentine, Rhapsody, and more, more, more!).

I always hated Clown.
Sigh....I am CON stunned again. Dang...everytime.
Gahhh. This name is familiar. Did a fourth edition version of her show up somewhere, like maybe in one of the DC sourcbooks?Originally posted by Steve Long

Some call me... Tim?
For some reason I don't think it will be a problem.

I've been having a heck of a difficult time getting onto the site recently. My computer has been freezing up 75% of the time I try to connect. At first I though it was related to my machine's continuing desire to launch Adobe Acrobat everytime it sees Hero.
Then I realized the problem started soon after I joked about the return of CLOWN. I'm a victim of Steve's draconian vengence!! I think I'll go into hiding now. Who knows when the Blue Moon Killer will strike?![]()
