    Sidekick review sightings?

Has anyone seen any reviews of Sidekick in the wild?

No reviews, yet. I did get mine in the mail today and I am loving it. Hopefully, this will help me convert some of the unwashed.

Would that be "Change Environment" or "Transformation"?

What took so long creating SideKick?

Man, this thing is great. I will be buying 3 more copies so that I can distribute them to a few friends now that I just stopped running DnD.

Review copies are slowly making their way out to the usual suspects, so hopefully a few will see print soon. In the meantime, if you have strong opinions about Sidekick, why not write one up yourself and submit it to your favorite review site? Also, be sure to let your FLGS know how helpful the book is to you, to help them be able to handsell it themselves to potential buyers- it might help you find more local players to game with! dw

Here's my review: Sidekick is great.

The book fully lived up to my expectations. I just wish it had been around a year ago, because I would have been able to learn HERO System about ten times faster.

My review would be too short for publication:

If I were starting up a campaign from scratch again, this is what I'd go with. Sometimes simpler is just better.

Of course I have a campaign now and my players are up to speed, so it's less an issue. But it's nice to know that if I had to start over again I have an aid in this.

Thanks for all the short but helpful reviews here folks.

I'm in the process of setting up a new Terran Empire campaign and I am the only one that has any real experiance with FREd so Sidekick will help. I'm even making it mandatory (unless they get FREd instead).

I completely agree ... I've requested that all my players get a copy so they can learn the system, as well as have the nutshell of powers at their hands
