There is a difference between the app defaulting everything and manually deselecting everything.

Particularly when he has an existing appPrefs.xml file with other source entries in it (which he does).

To be very clear: DO NOT DESELECT ALL SOURCE BOOKS.

Doing so tells the app that you don't want to use the material from any of the source books....so you get what you're asking for with the blank screens.

I always include notes in the change log when I add in material from other source books. Editing your prefs to include the new source books is an easy process.

What do I need to do to use Sidekick-only? I tried the obvious (selecting Sidekick and deselecting all the other books, including H5E), but I'm not sure that's working. Variable Power Pool is missing (as it should be), and Powers like Duplication are missing (as they should be), but I'm also unable to add Power Modifiers to Powers. When I add a Power, then click on the Add Modifier button, nothing happens. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Clarification...

The Add Modifier button only fails to work on some Powers. For example, It works on Density Increase, Damage Resistance and Clinging, but it doesn't work on Change Environment, Ego Attack, Entangle, or Darkness.

Fixed in the current interim build.
