    Errors in Page Loading

Since the upgrade, each time I go to another page in the HERO discussion boards, little boxes pop up with the following: A Runtime Error has occured. Do you wish to Debug? Each one will list a line number, and then something like "base is undefined" or "object expected".

I've started seeing this on more and more websites, but this is the first time it's happened on a site that has easy feedback. What the heck is it?

EDIT: changed "pages" to "websites" for clarity.

    Re: Errors in Page Loading

PS: It only happens on my home machine, not here at work.

PPS: I happened on my other work machine. Slightly different format, but it does indicate the same kind of errors.

PPPS: Happening on this machine too. When loading the page to edit the post, I get the following two errors, each with the same block of text:

"Problems with this web page may prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly. In the future, you can display this message by double-clicking the warning iron displayed on the status bar."

    Line: 299
    Char: 11
    Error: "base" is undefined
    Code: 0
    URL: http://www.herogames.com/forums/edit...tpost&p=289157

    Line: 1095
    Char: 1
    Error: object expected
    Code: 0
    URL: http://www.herogames.com/forums/edit...tpost&p=289157

You'll need to give me more information than that....I show no errors on any of the pages.

    What browser (with version)?

What skin/style are you using on the boards?

What (specific) pages do you see the error(s) on?

Chances are, it's an issue with your browser (out of date, unsupported, etc), but I can't be sure until you answer the above.

At home, it's Windows 98SE and IE 5.51.4807.2300
At work, the one that's doing it is Windows XP Pro and IE 6.whatever
At a friends house, it's Windows 2000 Pro, updated, and IE 6.whatever

I'm using the Hero Games Dark Background style.

I'm seeing the errors on EVERY forum page. The line number isn't the same each time, but it's always the same two errors I mentioned. The examples I gave you came from the Win2k Pro machine.

It just suddenly quit doing it, so I came back over to this thread...
