    Background:The woman known as Harmonious Jade was sold into slavery shortly after her birth. Purchased by cult that worshipped the demonic Yozi, she was honed into a kiling machine to serve them and their otherworldly masters. Harmonious never questioned the rightness of her cause, killing those her master bid until one day her target was much better protected than she banked on. Only her sudden Exaltation allowed her to escape and return to her master's alive. She hoped they would help her understand what had happened to her. Instead, frightened by her transformation the cultists attempted to sacrifice her to the very Yozi she'd so faithfully served. Harmonious god given powers were greater than even they suspected and their living weapon escaped once more. Now, Harmonious Jade still kills for money. Its the only trade she knows. And a very profitable one at that. But she seeks to find out what she has become. And perhaps to atone for the deeds she's done in service to her treacherous masters

    Personality: Harmonious Jade is a hardened killer. She is cool under fire and remorseless. Outside of her profession though, she can be remarkably naive. Her childhood, such as it was, was totally removed from the ordinary. She has little experience with the softer side of life or things most people consider normal are baffling, even fascinating for her. She is driven to discover just what her Exaltation means and what she has become.

    Powers:Harmonious Jade is an archer practically beyond compare. Being Chosen by the Unconquered Sun has only increased her ability. Now she can channel her Essence into her weapon to make her attacks even more devestating, striking down her targets with Solar Fire. Her magical Short bow is already extremely powerful. Combined her innate magics there is very little it can't strike down. Jade's natural stealth skills are also enhanced to a supernatural level allowing to become nearly invisible, undetectable and to leave no scent.

    Appearance: Harmonious Jade is a beautiful, small framed woman, dark skinned woman. She has gymnast's build and model's face and keep her hair bound in dozens of beaded braids. These are tightly bound when she's working but allowed to hang free otherwise. She ususally wears a black metal breastplate edged with oriachlachium over white or grey silk shirt and loose baggy pants with a pair of sure footed soled boots and black belt. She keep a her ornate golden bow and a large quiver across her back when on mission and fine edged knife tucked in her belt.

    I've thought a little about Exalted conversions as well... Yours is very good IMO.

    A few points I've thought about (YMMV, of course):

    Exalted Attributes to HERO Characteristics
    I'd start by multiplying by 5 and maybe modifying a little where necessary.
    Perception (and Awareness Ability) in excess of Intelligence would convert to PER with all Sense Groups.
    I.e., pretty much like you did it.
    However, while I'd also make NCM the default, I wouldn't cap Characteristics at 20.
    Instead, I'd go with NCM costs, making increases half as effective for the same cost.

    Therefore, I'd calculate HERO Characteristics for WW Attributes>4 in the following way: HERO Characteristic = 20 + 5*(WW Attribute -4)/2. Rounded in favor of the character, generally.
    Taking Harmonious Jade's Dexterity (5 in WW) as an example:
    HERO DEX = 20 + 5/2 = 22.5, rounded up to 23.

    HERO Body
    I'd give characters with high Stamina a little additional Body. Maybe half as much as for CON, or a little below that - say, Body 12-13 for Harmonious Jade.
    'cause apart from Health Levels (which characters can only raise in supernatural ways), Stamina is the primary way to measure a person's physical hardiness in Exalted. Also, giving most characters converted from Exalted a 10 BODY in HERO just seems a little low to me. Also, HERO has much greater flexibility than the ST system so I'd might as well put it to good use.
    Not sure how to convert Extras' health levels, though. Maybe with some kind of Vulnerability to the Stun and Body of all attacks? Or else with about 1/2 as much Body as I'd give a Heroic character?

    BTW, you might want to give her an orichalcum breastplate (per Artifact Background / equipment list in CB: Night) or other light armor so she has *some* protection.
