Nested Lists

Is this (nested lists/lists in multipowers/multipowers in lists) a feature that will be added to the 2.x version(s) or I'll have to wait till 3.x?

    Re: Nested Lists

I sincerely doubt that they will be happening at all (regardless of version).

    Re: Nested Lists

Can I ask why? Is it because of retro-compatibility? (looking at the hdc (xml) files produced by HD I've seen that lists are seen as standard elements, and not as containers. Is this the problem?)

A number of reasons, generally involving performance, formatting and the like.

    Re: Nested Lists

I did discover by accident that a compound power can contain another compound power. Is this OK and supported, or should we avoid it?

    How did you manage that?

You should definitely not do that.

Once you let me know how you did it, I'll make sure that the method is disabled in the next update.

    Re: Nested Lists

You can copy one compound power into another using copy and paste.

    Yeah, that'll happen.

Yeah, I found that "feature" during RC3:

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.

Just to confirm, yes, that's what I did.
