No matter where you go, there you are.

Usually nothing.
So that's what an invisible barrier looks like.
Sliced fresh pineapple is a huge favorite for our group. Lemon bars (from a mix) are a close second. Of course, tons of soda pop!!!!

I like to cook (especially baking) and use my gaming group as guinea pigs for untried recipes. If anyone keels over and dies, I don't bring that item again.
Call us strange… but as the gaming group got older we began to get less and less tolerant of people disrupting the game. We decided we wanted 5 hrs of uninterrupted, quality role-playing. The only reason to get out of character is to discuss OOC issues such as game mechanics or bathroom breaks.
One of the biggest disruptions to a game is a munchies break, or soda runs. Therefore, to answer your original question, we have a cooler filled with ice and sodas. Beer is tolerated as long as the drinking player doesn’t get too stupid after a few hours of alcohol consumption.![]()

Various sodas, 12 oz alcoholic containers (beer, wine coolers, various other adult beverages). A few bags of chips, and sometimes cookies. Like Stompy we tend to just keep everything close to the game table so there is not a run to the kitchen to get anything. We usually meet up and grab dinner before the game starts so everyone is well fed when we get to the table.
First in my class here at MIT / Got skills, I’m a champion at D&D / MC Escher - that’s my favorite MC / Keep your 40, I’ll just have an Earl Grey tea
Only question I / Ever thought was hard / Was do I like Kirk / Or do I like Picard
Think I’m just too white and nerdy

I buy three bottles of water and one of my players usually gets a Dr. Pepper and two hotdogs. The place where my group and I play sells food. I usually eat before going, though. Food behind the screen would interfere with my GMing.
Some type of nuts (It's turned into a running gag. That's all I'm gonna say). Triscuits and Easy-Cheez. A couple of 2 liter diet sodas (I'm diabetic, and others have dietary issues, so Diet Rite no sodium no caffeine and still taste good) Tostitos and salsa.

I was in a game once where two of the "players" showed up with a 6-pack of beer. They proceeded to get passing-out drunk and did no discernable roleplaying. I don't think beer has been at another game since.
Which doesn't mean that the odd glass of alcohol (singular) hasn't shown up in other games from time to time. But for the most part, none of the games that I play in is so easy that one can afford to play while impared.

Our long time Fiday Night Fantasy group always bring something different , except for the GM Rufus . Chocolate Milk , Chocolate Bars , Wine Gumbies , and Cookies ( which he hoards ) . The skinny little *bleep* is still skinny after 14yrs .
I usually try to bring chips , but for a while brought a loaf of fresh baked bread . Which I tore apart and ate over a session . Later on I had to bring two one for me and one for the group . We have the moocher , the I ate before I came guy , and the Gamer Girl who eats nothing ( well hardly anything ) .
They are variations inclueding a Christmas and Easter Chocolate Pot Luck in order to get rid of all excess chocloate . The yearly summer barbeque and the Gamer's Appreciate Family night at a restraunt of their choice ( usually Thai or Hindi ) . This placqates the significant others for tolerating our hobbies and weird friends and the occassional stranger .
Oh and the Halloween Pumpkin carving and Horror one shot sessions .
Cheers

Two people, one six-pack, and passing-out drunk? Lightweights. Or maybe they started early.Originally Posted by DocMan

You forgot the Mountain Dew - or is that just assumed for all gaming groups?Originally Posted by lemming

I've never seen any without. Any rumours that games occur without Mountain Dew are just myths.Originally Posted by zornwil
