    Plot Seeds for Time Mastervillain

Remember Tempus, the villain from "Menace Out Of Time" "Champions Presents # 1"? I have an idea: After this scenario, Tempus sort of updates - and calls himself Timemaster. He would have the look of said villain from "Classic Enemies (love that spiky armor!). Creating the Powers for him - no problem. Captain Chronos, Timemaster, Tempus, Time Powers from USPD, and he's ready to go. However, I have no cool ideas for further plots. So I am calling for help: I need Plot Seeds! This could be anything from further revenge plots against the PCs ( in an appropriate manner using his control over time) or some plots for conquering the world (Bwahahahahahahah...) - with a time theme. Thanks in advance.

Have Timemaster research out all the current heroes (PCs) backgrounds and then go back in time to stop or alter their origins. If the heroes aren't super anymore, then they cannot stop his "master plan" (one which he might have already tried, maybe even several times, but it always failed due to the heroes' meddling).

This may involve some creative GMing... maybe even handing out PCs that are still normals. Actually this would be a great start to a campaign- imagine that Captain Chronos gathers together this diverse bunch of people and then tells them a tale about how they are all supposed to be superheroes, but a time-traveling villain altered their pasts? Now they have to go back and fix it. Hmmm. Interesting. I'll have to get back to this later, I am off to run a game.

    Good luck.

That kicks very much ASS Mags. I like the campaign idea.

How about this. Timemaster needs a group of agents for his latest plan. He draws these warriors from various time periods.

Or look up any adventure involving Kang the Conquerer.

characters 24 hours into the future, where they startled a police CSI team. They dusty them selves off and plan to head home but the moment they step outside they realize something is a foot.

A large sky scraper across the street is glowing with chronal energy they race to investigate only to find the master villain now older again and with a fully functioning device about to complete his nefarious scheme now with greater forces at his disposal.

Finally all becomes clear the first fight was with this time master who was thrown backwards 5 years in time in the battle they just concluded his attack on the demolition site was to recover the device, which previously was buried under several feet of reinforced concrete forming the banks vault.

Working behind the scenes to repair the device and prepare better for the heroes so that they would not thwart him this time using his younger self as a distraction keeping him out of trouble by using his time device to free him from jail and liberate the parts he needed.

Until now the device is ready and soon all of the world’s armies will be frozen and his own loyal temporal troopers will take control of the world bending it to his will.
Will your heroes be able to thwart him and where did this mysterious time traveler comes from originally who knows?

Hey FB, this was very cool, but I had to read it three times before I understood it. FYI, a few well-placed commas go a long way, dude. Neat plot.

Why, thank you Enforcer! I aim to please!

Actually, I LOVE time travel scenarios. My favorite movies are 12 Monkeys and Millenium, both excellent sources for straight-line chonology (well, Millenium starts out from the guy's point of view and halfway through switches to her point of view, which then makes it all come together nicely).

Unfortunately for me, one of the guys in my group hates time travel so much, that I promised I wouldn't run any time travel plots. What a bummer, too, since I have so many ideas.

But, I have a game to run tomorrow (or today, rather) so I'll post more later.

    Cheers!

Other time manipulating villains are being attacked one by one and having their powers/gadgets stolen, siphoned or whatever, and after a couple of time anomaly mishaps (dinosaurs showing up downtown, etc.) the heroes discover Timemaster is behind the attacks. What is he doing and why?

hmm another idea I had is to have your villain actually be a hero from a future apocalyptic world. who is seemingly criminal but is in actually working to defeate a greater future enemy by provoking heros to band together stealing mondey and equipment to stockpile resources etc. think sarah connors in terminator 2.
