    A contriversial "Would your character...?"

At some point, your character has accquired a mega villian stalker type, utterly obessed with having your character physically. This lunatic has cooked up a scheme which will kills millions of people. Her or his demand? That your character conceive (and bear) their child (assuming the character is able). Not only this, but the conception has to be natural and will be wittnessed in some fashion (in public, televised, etc).

Yes, this is actually based on a situation that happend in a game I was breifly involved in. I think there was an old movie with a similar plot as well.

Assume the guy can't be easily "terminated" or even if he or she is the plan itself will still succeed.

Starguard -- would completely mentally lock up at the question.

Fortunately for the world, I can think of at least two teammates of hers who would gladly solve her dilemna for her, in the most final possible way...

Baron von Darien -- somebody just picked an unusually inventive method of suicide, that's about it.

Dr. Pain -- would probably say yes, but only if he gets custody of the kid. While that argument's going on, try for the sucker punch.

I was involved in a similar plot (my character, too).

I killed the guy. It was brutal.

If I hadn't been powerful enough to do so (and it was a rough fight) I likely would have said "Go ahead... kill millions."

Then again, that was an extra nasty character in an often nasty campaign.

I think you're better off without that game, btw

Are we assuming tech is available to enable men to bear young? 'cause all my boys is men.

Okay, Colonel Jonathan Rebman would probably do it, unless the millions were all d**ned yankee's. Not sure how a possesed iron statue would concieve, but oh well.

Jack: He's an imaginary person (litteraly. He is a daydream given life), but is utterly subject to the demands of a little girl, who would think that was too gross. No Way!

Libra: Not even an organic life form, so there'd have to be a serious special effect going on. Uh, he just might.

Helios: Ah, the sun god. He wouldn't, because he wouldn't allow his demigod progeny to grow up to be evil.

If the character is male assume the stalker mega villian is Female and wants him to sire her child publically.

Wow. Just Wow. Sire the child in public. You're running some kind of campaign. Wow.

I wasn't the GM for this particular show. My character wasn't even involved. Addmitedly, it wasn't much of "Superhero" game (I've had few of those. )
but more of "Superbeings" game where we had powers but no particular moral agenda. The character in question was SuperModel (In the most literal sense of the term) with the concept of Perfect Woman. Her male counterpart (whom she could not stand) set this thing up.

Hmmmm... this is actually going to be a big problem for Adonis. He is sterile. Genetically, he is completely incompatable with humans. Unfortuanately, this isn't generally known. Someone who breaks into the trial records when he was taken from his "father/creator" would be able to find this out, but let us assume that the villain didn't do that. Telios and Dr. Silverback know this, but it is entirely possible the villain wouldn't believe Dr. Silverback, and how would you convince Telios to help out?

Audra Blue is incapable of child birth.

Anthem would spend a lot of time hemming and hawing before agreeing, but there's no way in heck ANY other character in the campaign would let this come about (Including my other character, Uncle Slam, who would have Anthem locked up in the super-prison he is currently trustee of, just to prevent such a thing, and to remove the decision from her hands).

My character Zl'f would not be played in any campaign that were to produce such a situation. She only does four-color.

Well, my latest character Nova is a male, but has Persistent Shapeshifter powers, which enable all humanoid shapes, and has a somewhat novelty-seeking attitude (sex is also one of his favorite pastimes, too...). So he might just accept the challenge, if there were no other way of defusing the menace. No way it would accept let living a bastard that threatened millions afterwards (except it was really, really convinced he was really, really useful to the urvival of the planet in the future). So the baby would end up orphan of one parent soon.

As for the child, well, he's the type that is wary of accepting new long-term committments, but he sticks to them once he has. So he would keep it (but maybe try to fashion some kind of artificial womb ASAP). He has UNTIL, DEMON, and pretty much all the cosmic CU baddies as Hunteds, so he would seek to give the baby in adoption to a trusted couèle and visit often or look after the baby from afar. The baby would grow up having genetic heritage to his 1000-pts. cosmic powerhouse powers, though. What would be the heritage of the baddie ?

Am I right in assuming that Persistent Shape-Shifting, any humanoid shape, is what's needed for a male charcter to bear a pregnancy ?

Likewise, but if we suddenly crossed over to Iron Age against our will, our DM really ough to know that at least half the party would go straight into Majestros mode.

Assume the bad guy is a "Mega Villian" of the sort that would be a team beater in your campaign. In our he was well over 2000 points. In a campaign where the PCs were 700+150. Also assume if your character male, the villain is a villianess. It more a question of character motivation. Just how much would you sacrifice for others? In this case, it would be your body and your dignity.

As far the shape shift question, I'd say it would depend on special effects.

To answer the question for my characters thus far:

Menagerie:If he was a powerful mutant, by all means. The blackmail would not be required, she would be proud to bear a powerful child of the One Race. Now, the deaths of millions of monkeys would make a fine courtship present.... (Did I mention Menagerie is a psycho?)

Pinnacle:Would stall as long as possible for her team to come up with something but if it came right down to it, she'd do it rather than let so many die. The child would NOT end up in his hands if she could help it.

Stopwatch:No, f'ing way. She's way to young and cute to get knocked up by some old sicko looking for thrills!

Gaia:Not likely. Destroy all the cities you want. It cleanses the Earth. She may breed but, as a female, it will be at a time and with a male of HER choosing. As nature intended it.

A lot would depend on the scheme, how much time my character has to prepare, etc. WIth super heroic tech and powers, there might be some way to get a high speed vasectomy and con her into thinking she's gotten what she wanted.

Well, Nova is rather nonchalant and uninhibited about sex and things of the body, and he assumes his dignity is much more tied to sticking at his personal moral code, and his self-awowed mission than to prudish sillinies: If the villainess is attractive and skilled in bed, he might even enjoy the experience (but threatening millions is a very good way to earn its wrath after the fact). I mean he already feels ambigously attracted to several gorgeous supervillainesses (eg Gravitar).
