Is there any difference in the content in store-bought copies and ordering the cd online?

Roughly how long does delivery take ordering online from Saskatchewan, Canada?

When you purchase online, you only get the installer for the one operating system you purchase. With the CD version, you get all three of the Windows, Solaris, and Linux installers.

Even when ordering the CD version? The ad in the online store just lists all of the systems it's compatible with and only one version to order. I was actually just wondering about docs and the like. Does the CD version ordered online include a full physical manual? Does the in-store version?

Oops. I'm sorry. I misread your original question. I had thought you were asking about the difference between the download and CD versions. You get the same CD with all three installers whether you order it online or purchase it from your local gaming store. The docs are provided as a PDF file as part of the distribution (whether downloaded or on the CD). There is no physical manual available.

As for the dog sled crack, it was actually a joke about snow-bound remote Saskatchewan from a fellow Canadian.

Just to clarify...

The CD that you can order online is the exact same product as the CD you can order from retailers. They have all three installers on them.

I think it's usually been about 1-2 weeks for Hero stuff to get to me in Southern Ontario. I would think that it would be about the same time to Saskatchewan, but I don't know. I think the biggest factor is how long it takes to clear customs.

Try simply going through the order process. The shipping charges will be shown once you enter your address.

There are no charges from Hero Games other than what is shown in the store during checkout.

If you're talking about other charges/levies (outside of Hero Games), then you should check with the appropriate parties....Hero Games has not control over that.

Hero ships to Canada using the United States Postal Service (i.e., the regular post office) so it will arrive delivered by Canada Post. My own experience is that you are unlikely to get dinged for any duty or sales tax on a package that low -- if you did, my guess would be 3-5 dollars CDN total. But I'm trying to remember the last time the post office collected anything like that from me and I have had several packages in the last year of so come through, including a couple from Hero Games.
