    Anybody else got Paranoia XP?

This book is hilarious! This book is great! The game mechanics have really been honed to support the insane style of the game far better than ever before, as has the wealth of advice for both players and GMs.

Bigger and better than any of the previous editions, this deserves to be an instant hit! Old time Paranoia fans will not be disappointed (unless they're filthy traitors).

Rage and Mark: a friend of mine was asking if Paranoia had jumped onto the d20 bandwagon -- he's not interested if it has. It didn't look d20 from the free character sheet download, but I haven't seen the book yet. Since you have, what's the scoop?

When I read the press release about it, it was not going to be D20.
Hmm, guess what else I'll be picking up along with Dark Champs today.

Is the book as fun to read as the original Paranoia? The rule book was nearly as much of a blast to read as the game was to play.

Just picked it up. Looks nice at a glance, but won't be able to read any of it till next week.

It isn't d20 or even remotely close (although the only type of die used in the system is the d20). The system is based on Paranoia 2nd Edition but with some very nice new touches added. Among the best of these are 'Perversity Points', which (among other things) enable players to engage in frenzied bidding wars to affect each other's dice rolls.

The text is very much in the style of Paranoia 2nd Edition. It contains more 'serious' (I use the term loosely) advice than previous editions, but it's still a blast to read.

Yes. And doubting that could be considered treason. Have a happy day citizen.

Yep, the book is cool. I picked it up Friday along with DC from my FLGS.

Not only is the computer your friend, but there is specific mention of any 5th editions, computer crashes or crossovers with other games being highly treasonous.

5th editions? Computer crashes? Crossovers? I'm sorry citizen, you obviously are a commie mutant spy. Please report to the recycling tanks at once.

    Have a nice day.

That was quite a leap of logic, Lady Chaos. You're obviously a mutant telepath traitor!
