    Maneuver Basis of 'Martial' Shove?

    Steve (& other readers),

I apologize if this ground was previously covered, but I couldn't find an answer in any of the usual resources ...

How is the Shove maneuver (in the table on page 9 of Ultimate Martial Artist) constructed? I can't figure out what its Maneuver Basis is. From what I can glean (on pgs. 145 and 149 of UMA), Grab & Shove and Shove are related, but distinct, maneuvers.

I keep trying to reverse engineer how Shove would be paid for, and it looks like it's a +0 point maneuver that just isn't listed anywhere.

    Thanks for your time,
    Charles Picard

It's an Exert. Any of the maneuvers that are "+X STR for some purpose" are Exerts.
