In Dark Champions, the Five SeveN is listed at only a 1d6 RKA, putting it on the same level as a .38. Is this a misprint? The same round shot through the P90 is 2d6, and an argument could probably be made that this is a 2 1/2 d6 RKA.

Men call'd him Mulciber; and how he fell
From Heav'n, they fabl'd, thrown by angry Jove
Sheer o're the Chrystal Battlements: from Morn
To Noon he fell, from Noon to dewy Eve,
A Summers day; and with the setting Sun
Dropt from the Zenith like a falling Star
Per the table on DC 203, that caliber bullet typically does RKA 1d6. Per the information on DC 208, the tumbler effect for bullet adds 1d6. Per the table on DC 244, the P90 is designed so that its bullet tumbles (thus the "Tum" listed under Notes). Thus, both are correct as listed.
As to what arguments could be made, I'll stick by my statement in the sidebar on DC 200-01.You and anyone else who wants to debate the subject of how much damage a bullet "should" do are welcome to discuss it in the DC forum if you'd like, but I've said my piece (no pun intended
) for the time being.
