Acting at DEX 53? Yeah, I think so. Not sure about SPD or movement. Having the same powers and tricks, it can be hard for one of you not to overshadow the other; on separate "teams" though it shouldn't matter.

True. If it had been set up for me to join the team he was on, I would have taken over Kara's old Heatwave character for GG instead of doing a speedster.

And her movement's better, but the SPD is the same.

For those of you interested, the Force Pacific campaign just posted it's call for submissions.

Here is the Force Pacific call for submissions:

Hi,

We are currently looking for two player characters to fill the void left by
the departure of Amazon (player's health reasons), and Mariner (player's own
reasons).

The openings are for Wood (wood, forest, nature, life, morality, confidence,
and/or community) and Water (water, charm, flair, communication, and/or
healing).

Other than following the guidelines on the campaign home page
(http://www.globalguardians.com/campa...rcepacific.php)
we have no other requirements. Any archetype, excepting powered armor and speedster, that falls within the premise of Wood and Water will be
considered. Ties to PCs and NPCs that have been used in the campaign as well as interesting plot ideas will enhance your character.

Currently, we have on the team:
Bastet (Fire element): feline shapechanger
Pulse (Earth element): geomagnetic brick/energy blaster
Silver Centurion (Metal element): power armored speedster/energy blaster
Wa (Yin/Yang): brother and sister martial artists in a single body

Submissions are due by 6 a.m. Eastern time/ 3 a.m. Pacific on Sunday October 31. We would be happy to answer any questions.

This was posted to the GGU Admin List this afternoon. For those of you not subscribed:

Just a few notes to clarify:

1) Submissions should include the normal background items (i.e., player, player's e-mail, character, character's real name, archetype, hair/eye color, height/mass in metrics, nationality, place and date of birth, background story, quote, appearance, personality, powers). If you want to include a character sheet, you may, but we probably won't be considering the point layout. Instead, we would prefer a fairly good description of both power set and skill set (and, if it's important, perk set) in the Powers section of the background items.

2) Characters submitted for Water do not need to be related to the original Surf and Turf. However, if you are interested, Mariner has a sister that can replace her (inquire with us if you would like to take this path).

3) New characters will begin play once the background and character sheet is submitted by the GMs to the Auditor. However, they will not interact with the team (i.e., they will be doing something solo that brings them closer to the team) until the start of the next adventure unless there is a good reason in the character's background to bring the character into the current adventure.

Again, we are happy to answer questions.
