Rock On!
Thanks for sharing. Maybe we could get this posted somewhere more permanent-like.
Legendsmiths presents: Narosia * Sea of Tears, a complete fantasy setting for the Hero System.
... plus a pretty good Fallout conversion as well.
Sweet!

Just like to point out that while I provide some coverage of how to do "Leveled advancement" in the AD&D 2e and D&D 3e Conversion documents, they are included primarily for converting things into the HERO System from a Leveled advancement system.
I specifically dont recommend that a Level concept be used in the HERO System though the charts intended for conversion into the system can certainly be used for that if an individual GM wants to do so.
Also, I did a Warhammer Fantasy RPG Conversion that is still floating around. I intend to revisit it and give it more complete coverage eventually, but one more thing, right?

Sorry, KS, it was never my intention to imply that your site advocated applying levels to HERO. I've taken that reference out.
I also found and added the thread containing your WHFRPG conversions. Thanks for the tip!![]()
Yes, you certainly did, and you have our admiration and thanks.Originally Posted by Susano

I noticed that those notes had been removed. If you let us know when you update them I'll be delighted to add them here.Originally Posted by Susano
No problem. It just seems to be a common misconception. The site exists to ween people off of D&D, not to encourage/advocate some of the poor design elements intrinsic to itOriginally Posted by Lord Liaden

Of course I'm not really a proponent of One Game To Rule Them All.Gamers are a diverse lot, and there really needs to be a full spectrum of games to suit all the different styles of play.
Nonetheless, I haven't encountered fans of any other system so many of whom see another publisher's products as grist for their game's idea mill.
I want there to be other games personally -- more stuff more me to borrow from![]()

Aha! I don't see conversions for Villains & Vigilantes or Superhero 2044.
.
.
.
I'm kidding about Superhero 2044. A long time ago, I don't remember who but there was a sheet about converting V&V to Champions 3rd ed I think.
As I understand it there were a couple of V&V books which included notes on converting V&V to pre-4E Champions. I know of at least one webpage with 4E HERO writeups for the Destroyers from Death Duel With the Destroyers, supposedly based on those notes, but I thought that was a bit too limited to link to here.Originally Posted by Tech
If anyone were to put V&V conversion notes on the web, though, I'd gladly link to them. There are still fans of V&V out there.
I have said conversion notes and intend to do some... eventually.Originally Posted by Lord Liaden
