Global Guardians PBEM Has 29 Player Openings

Three new Guardians Embassy campaigns are going to be opening soon in the Global Guardians Universe. Two of them are going to need 8 players, and the third six players.

In addition to the new campaigns, five of the established Guardians Embassy campaigns need to replace players who have dropped out due to real life issues.

If you're interested in taking part in the largest shared-world Champions PBEM on the internet, check us out at www.globalguardians.com. Please feel free to email any questions to me directly at jack@globalguardians.com

By the way, I was just informed by one of the GMs that his campaign needs 2 new players, not just 1, so its actually a total of 30 openings.

Just wierd handling of URL mappings on the message board. It's coming out with an extra period at the end.

I checked my Apocolypse handbook and I believe this may just be the 6th seal. Can I get a confirmation from the judges? - joen00b

    A question

    Worldmaker,
I play in several PBeM games currently and they all progress at different speeds.

How do you keep so many games running on the same timeline?

Ruthless efficiency and a fanatical devotion to the Pope.

Actually, I openly admit is a juggling act. Basically, the GMs are a close community and work together to make sure that everything flows in one direction. But beyond that, it has never become that much of an issue.

Most of the campaigns have never interacted except on a single guest-star basis, where only one character from another game makes a guest shot. Timing is thus not really an issue. We did have a story not too long ago where two of the PC teams ended up investigating the same Master Villain plot from two different angles and teamed up to defeat him, but that was facilitated by the fact that the GM of one campaign had gone on vacation and had asked the GM of the second game to cover for him.

Such things are generally coordinated between the GMs way beforehand. We keep in touch on a daily basis just in case.

    Thanks for answering my question.

Sounds like you have a good group of people at the Global Guardians.

I like to think so. But then, I'm kind of biased.

What format should character submissions be in?

Plain text files? If so, is there a particular layout to use? Or should they be Word documents, or LaTex, or Flash animations that show the origin story of my character?

I just didn't see it mentioned in the FAQ.

Plain text and Word is good, using the same format as the characters on the website.
