One character in my games has the following power.
STR 20, area affect radius, x2 radius, selective.
The most common use is to punch ALL the minion level characters in one move.
What else can one do with this?
What CAN'T one do with this?

Well, I'd say you can attack everything in the area, but not use strength for other things, like typing on two computers at once (doesn't sound like Trogdor does much of that), opening two doors at once (but smashing them down would be OK). Basically anything that requires brute force (and an attack roll) good, anything that requires finesse, bad.
Aside: unless Trogdor has very high speed or very low strength, the double radius on the area effect seems a bit excessive.

The character is a speedster, and his strength is only a 20. The radius isn't all that large at all.
Actually....
The USPD actually has a speedster trick like you're describing built with Telekinesis, AOE Selective, No Range Limitation and Must Pass Through Interviening Space, Only For Disarms.
The size of the AOE is deterimined by the active points of the TK and represents a multiple move/grab by that has no negative OCV modifiers.
Another alternative is to build Teleportation Usable As An Attack with the same limitations as above.

Well, Trogdor could pick up litter in the area all at once. Or pick up (relatively) light rubble. He *might* be able to be a one man mosh pit.Originally Posted by paigeoliver
What couldn't be done? Break a wall. Respond well to a STR DRAIN. Deflect bullets. Break out of a 5d6 entangle probably.
Are you worried about this being abused and upsetting balance, or are you looking for new, inventive things to do?
Good-bye, and thanks for all the fish.
Heh, at the base, guess who gets "volunteered" to clean the urinals? (Sorry, Trogdor, you can clean the men's room faster than anyone. We don't want to smell it any longer than we have to. Get to work.)Originally Posted by paigeoliver
