    Don't forget the Hunteds. For every Contact and Favor that came from helping repel an invasion of evil or somesuch, there should be a horridly nasty bad-guy who now hates the Sorcerer Supreme because of it. If nothing else, inheriting a large list of Hunteds from his mentor should give a nice chunk of bonus points to pump-up the powers and skills he will now need.

    Fallibility. I think the Archmage should be a person with serious power (whether they know how to use it or not), but should still be essentially "human", with all our foibles and inconsistancies. This probably won't be a problem with a PC, but perhaps a reminder of the fact that he's still, at heart, just a guy with magical powers and abilities.

    Actually, I don't find Favors/Indebtedness to really be represented in the source material. It's not like you see Doctors Strange or Fate get on the ol' magephone and say "Hey, She-Witch. Do you remember when I helped you dispatch those Sliggering Mictucrants from Oblivex III?" They scout around for a while,maybe, but eventually they're gonna kick in the door and go "I AM THE SORCEROR SUPREME! YOU MAY NOT RESPECT ME, BUT YOU'RE GONNA RESPECT MY OFFICE, JERKY!"*

    Contacts are good, but I'd make sure to give them a high PRE, good Conversation, Oratory, and Persuasion skills. Trading Favors is for dabblers and up-and-comers, not for the Protector/Despot of an entire planet/dimension.

    Presumably you have permission to put non-END cost things like Universal Contact and Danger Sense into an EC.

    But I'd recommend one of the following:

    1. Turn the "Mantle" EC into a Multipower. Either you'll be Levitating or World-Walking, not both at once. (just like you don't Swing and Swim at the same time)

    2. Just buy one EC. Put the "Mantle" slots into the "Power" EC and let them keep their OIF. The only effect difference is that the "Mantle" slots will be Drained along with the other "Power" slots.

    The powers either in the VPP or on the Mantle should be bought with the +1/4 Advantage can draw on personal END or END Reserve.

    BTW I built the staff construct as well on Darren Wood's NPC for Faust. It is such as cool way to get the traditional Mage Staff into a Superhero.

    Last is 3 points for being the Archmage too little for the perk. Being a Prince is like 6 points?

    I think that the Sorceror character you posted could really use a severe drop in his DEX replaced with an increased EGO. Mystics are supposed to be willpower-houses to control the Might Arcane that they regularly throw out there.
