I am trying to determine how to do some oddities.
maybe extra limbs that an AI controls?
Give them extra speed not for movement?
ANy other ideas?

Make the whole thing an automaton with an AI and mind link with the character. Build it as a follower.

I've been out of actual play for years. I am trying to come up with some interesting versions of a multi-limbed (4+ arms) writeup for a campaign I am working on. ONe "world" I intend to be primarily hexaped instead of quadraped.

Apply Autofire to their Strength because of the Multiple Arms...
So this is a bit of an alien species or the like?Originally Posted by gewing
Right. For a centaur type beastie it is indeed just some extra running. Possibly KB Resistance due to better footing, although probably not enough to be clinging
For something with four arms and the ability to use them all at once, independently... take the base form. Buy duplication (4 copies), limit it to only being at 0 range/being inseparable, and give a susceptability to an arm being injured.
For something with four arms, and one brain, increased HtoH levels or DEX since they can all work. Double their strength when using all arms since he's got twice as many. Take Ambidexterity for at LEAST one limb (if he's got two left arms). Buy levels with Sweep and fighting with two+ weapons. Floating anti-limitation : 'not-bulky' for foci he can use in three or four hands and are thus not bulk for him, and him alone.
Oh, and extra limbs.
good thoughts...
I was looking at the hydra in fantasy hero, I need to get the bestiary.I wish I could buy more books, but house stuff takes precedence.

All that was stuff I either noticed on the net or came up with myself. You do not NEED books. This is HERO. All you need is creativity and a rulebook. Just think about things they could do that a normal biped couldn't... and apply a construct.
I mean, yes, buying books is good, but you don't need to worry about it. They'll be just as good a read whenever you pick them up, and they're not vital.
Yeah, but I can see MANY if not most GMs being REALLY unhappy with some of the constructions I was thinking of.
