I see the possibilites:
Linked, stable orbit with earth. Does not encircles earth. Way less mass than the moon.
To bad this one is not ideal in that matter (otherwise we would not have found it), but still gives us some opportunity.

Whoa! Is it just me, or does that orbit sound like Orpheus?Trojan asteroids typically do not orbit right at the Lagrangian points but in tadpole-shaped loops around them, due to the gravitational attraction of other bodies in the solar system. However, 2010 TK7's tadpole orbit is unusually large, at times taking it nearly as far as the opposite side of the sun from the Earth.

The CBC article on this has some guy trying to argue that Trojan orbits are impossible in the comments. There really ought to be a "Troll of the Week" award.
