Angel That's It I'm NEVER Quitting!

Just wanted to post a proactive Thread for the 99.9% of us that bleed Hero green & black. Best game, best people, and, for my money, the best damn character design program as well. (Seriously, I can try out more characters in an afternoon than I used to in a week! Now that's value-added.)

And, hey, if I didn't quit in the Dark Ages of the 1990's when Hero publishing virtually ground to a halt, I ain't gonna quit now. Besides who ever heard of moving out of Europe in the middle of the Renaissance?

PS I've spent $1,000s of dollars on Hero stuff over the years and I can still enjoy my cool toys with all my wonderfully enlightened and emotionally flexible friends.

    Love & Kisses,
    CorPse

Rawk. HERO will get most of my generic system money from now on. Which is also most of my RP money.

LOL. Great phrase. I am definitely borrowing this one, much like my recent borrowing of the cool insult "ontologically abusive."

OK, lets see if I can derail this HUG fest.....

My ONLY complaint with Hero is that they keep cranking out those accursed books faster than I can accumulate enough wealth perks to buy them all....

Curse you Hero for being so prolific....

Quit? If I didn't quit when Fuzion came out and Cybergames took over, I'm not quitting now.

Hey, do what I did. Get a part time job at a game shop so you work for your RPGs and get the stuff at half cost. now having a friend buy that shop so the job is assured is the more difficult part.

One day a week at near min wage, but I get all my stuff at cost - and it just barely covers my comics and RPG buying habits (well and my wife's manga and anime). I get too much stuff.

And yeah - keep up the great work - I've been a HEROite since 1985 - coming up on my 20 year anniversary soon, so keep everything going well. I'm not going stop buying stuff.

You know how you play with a cat by dangling a peice of sting within his grasp, and then pull it away as he grabs for it? If the string isn't exciting and tempting the cat won't grab. But if you pull away early too many times and deny him too often, the cat gives up in frustration. The skill is in finding the sweet spot between those extremes where its fun for you and the cat.

    That's what a GM's job is.
