Ignoring the cosmic team that could take down most everyone in the other poll, Pretty much everyone on this list could take down the New Champsions. (Hey we are on 275 what do you expect) and the Fread Squad (there are only three of us, and we aren't that tough).
And who are the Legion of Doom - I only know that name from wrestling (the alternate name of the Road Warriors)
You know how you play with a cat by dangling a peice of sting within his grasp, and then pull it away as he grabs for it? If the string isn't exciting and tempting the cat won't grab. But if you pull away early too many times and deny him too often, the cat gives up in frustration. The skill is in finding the sweet spot between those extremes where its fun for you and the cat.
That's what a GM's job is.

Um...dude. That link had nothing to do with the Legion of Doom. It did, however, rekindle my interest in tennis.
To answer the question, though, the Legion of Doom were the bad guys in the old "Justice League" cartoons, post "Superfriends" but around the same time.

Anyways, I listed Galactus and Darkseid. Now really, those are some pretty tall orders there, although I think Galactus would probably take on just about anyone created in the Hero Games Universe, although I don't know about Starhero people/weapons/starships.
So, ignoring Galactus, Darkseid would definitely be dangerous/deadly to most of my heroes and villains, except to maybe a few of them. Otherwise, the rest are nasty but manageable.

The first five baddies on the list would definetly crush my team like bugs, they'd make a good accounting of themselves against the Legion of Doom and against the Brotherhood but despite that they go down hard.
The rest of the list they can take.

Galactus could whoop us. The Fatal Five could as well, if they were tromping around at their Pre-Crisis levels and we didn't get the same juice. The rest we can take. Darkseid is dangerous, but he can only shoot one of us before we pound him into the dirt.

In a straight fight, Galactus, Darkseid, the Fatal Five, and the Crime Syndicate would beat the New Sentinels. Given the right circumstances, we could change this around for at least some of them in some ways ( the easiest would be "Princess Cyrande returns home and asks Daddy if she can borrow a Malvan Ultradreadnought for a little while. . ." ).
