    Character for Review: Pinky

Ok let me explain this one for you. Earlier this evening I was playing around with Heromachine, when my 6 year old daughter asks if I could make a girl super hero who wore pink. So I said "Sure" and we sat down and she told me what she wanted this hero to have. The costume turned out gaudy as all hell so I tweaked it and she loved it. I printed the picture out for her and in the name slot for the character I typed Pinky's Room. Pinky is the nickname her kindergarden classmates have given her because she likes pink so much. Well one thing led to another an I said what the hell I think I will stat out Pinky. I did so and so here she is Pic and hdc will be included.

She was immensly popular and was always seen at all of the big parties. But she was also devoted to her studies and no matter how late she partied the night before she was always on time for every class and always got good grades. But most of that has changed now. She is hardly ever seen at the parties any more & she is occasionally late for class. It all changed the day she got her powers and then began fighting crime as Pinky. She had been studying late one night and she found an experiment in her chemistry book she found intriguing. Early the next morning she rushed to the chem lab and began the experiment. She did not know however that another student had mislabeled some of the chemicals and when she mixed them they exploded. Jenny was covered with chemicals and flew back into a display case that contained several meteroites that the lab was performing tests on. The chemicals coating her reacted with one of the meteorites, and caused it to turn bright pink and then it began to glow. Jenny's body absorbed the pink light emenating from the meteorite and as it's glow got dimmer she began to glow brighter and brighter. When help arrived Jenny had stopped glowing and the meteroite had faded back to its normal grey tone. Soon after Jenny discovered her powers and since then, she has used her powers to fight crime. </td></tr><tr valign="top"><td colspan=2><b>Powers/Tactics:&nbsp;</b>Pinky possesses light base powers that she can use in various ways.</td></tr><tr valign="top"><td colspan=2><b>Campaign Use:&nbsp;</b></td></tr></table>

First off, I think it's totally adorable you made a comic character with your little girl (HM 2.0 is my program of choice as well ). You definately get a good daddy award from me for that. Second, Pinky ain't no lightweight! She could totally hang out with my 350-point X-men and do just fine. I'd love to hear that you featured Pinky as an NPC in your supers game. I guess the dream would be if your little one gets big enough to actually play the character she made with you. That would be too cool for words!

    award!

Well as far as featuring her in my supers game, that cannot happen as I currently do not have a supers game and no potential for one. I would love it if my kids eventually played but I am not going to force it on them, it will be there own choice.

    Ren,

I have to say that this is one of the coolest uses for the Hero System and HM that I have ever seen. I love the entire concept from beginning to end..

This is the the kinda thing that keeps me proud of the folks in the Hero Community.

    Ahem.

Richard Grayson, a.k.a. Robin the Boy Wonder managed Stealth, wearing bright red and yellow. With naked legs.

Some people are talented. Others wear black clothing.

Yes, but he talked the GM into letting him take the Young Japanese Child perk.

This is awesome, and kinda frightening at the same time. It also explains a lot of the advertising I see on TV.

    Wonderful job.
