    Maybe A Slight Rethinking?

Dan, it might be beneficial if you re-thought your position as far as allowing superhero characters to build powers which use the STR Minimum and other equipment modifiers which are currently only available in the Heroic Level templates.

DOJ is producing more and more characters, and it seems like a large number of those characters require me to custom add things like STR Minimums and many of the other Heroic Level Limitations. I really do not see any reason why I should have to always use a Custom Modifier for this when the program already has the ability to do what I want it to do.

Making this change does not really seem like it should be such a major issue. There are characters being designed by DOJ which require it, so I am not sure why we do not have the option. It seems like anything which allows us to emulate the material being published should be part of the software package.

Which characters? I have no problem making the change (it's an easy template edit)....I was just under the impression that those Limitations were only valid in a Heroic setting.

Well I just started entering the heroes and villains from MC, but so far I have come across Mr. X (his pistol), Nightwind (his pistols), all the MCPD equipment (granted it is for heroic level characters, but PCs can use it as well), Kodiak (his equipment), Teknique (her equipment), and several of the villains in the back of the book. There were also a few in CU and CKC as well, but I forget the names right now.

Hrrrm....tell ya what: when Steve gets back in town I'll talk to him and, if he agrees that the Limitations can be applied to Super-heroic level characters, then I'll get them tossed into the templates.

Sounds fair to me. I'm just looking to save myself a couple of clicks in the long run.
