Here's a challenge. Let's assume there is a Team of 118 Characters. Each one represents an Element. What powers would they have?
I'll start:
1) Hydrogen - Flight, Desolidification, Explosive (Fire) Energy Blasts

Mister Vimes
"No! Please! I'll tell you whatever you want!" the man yelled.

Einsteinium - Really smart guy. Horribly unscientific, I know.

Well, let's see, off the top of my head:
Radium: radiation attacks (NNDs, probably with Does Body);
Oxygen: Transform, Metal to Rust;
Carbon: enhanced Strength and defenses in diamond form;
Nickel: magnetic effects (e.g. Limited TK);
Cadmium: Energy Absorption vs Radiation;
Silicon: Invisibility underwater (in glass form);
Lead: Density Increase-based powers;
Neon: Energy Absorption vs electricity;
Chlorine: NND vs No need to breathe;
Silver: probably nothing special, but useful against werewolves.![]()
I'll see if I can come up with some more.
I'll take an easy one:
Iron. Magnetic powers.
Tony V.
Helium - the power to make children and some adults laugh.

Mercury- Lquid form, NND attack that does body(chemical poisoning.
Titanium- incredible strenght, durability, does not melt inot it hits like 2000 or 3000 degrees, then it burns until nothing's left.
Calcium- aid to other's body from "bone strengthening" ray.
Osmium- Lots of density increase
Disad for any radio-active isotope
3d6 drain vs body when 1/2 life met
heh. One of Sam Bell's villians was the Osmium man. We were able to track his footprints through concrete...Originally posted by Patriot
Osmium- Lots of density increase
This sounds fammiliar for some reason.
Oh, I know why.
Lead, Tin, Mercury, Platinum, Gold, Iron
Silver, Galium, Zinc, Osmium, Iridium, Nickel
along with a robot that could become Liquid Oxygen and a few other things.
The Metal Men![]()
At any rate,
Sodium-a burning Meele attack and an ability to make water explode
Krypton
The ability to self-destruct

that last one was bad....very,very bad.
