Hi roy!
Apparently, Kyokugenryu karate is a variant of Shotokan karate . . .
Have a look at the Wikipedia article

Do you know what becomes of dead dreams?
thanks marcus. i used to do jeet kun do but am breaking away from it. so do you do any martial arts?
I've been a practitioner of Jeet Kune Do for sixteen years now. (Give or take a few years of Judo).Originally Posted by roy
Why did I choose that style? It's Bruce Lee's style, of course!
I'd describe myself as a dabbler in Kendo . . . There are a lot of martial artists around these boards, and it seems as though Tae Kwon Do is the most popular around here . . .

Tae Kwan Do was the first martial art I ever took (at age 6), but I was only in that class for a few months before I went over to a new school. I'm not sure why I moved, I think my parents decided something was lacking about the class. Anyway, if things were different, I might know Tae Kwan Do principally now instead of Jeet Kune Do... weird.Originally Posted by L. Marcus
