I figured that, with new boards, I'd try once again to advertise for players.

I run a World of Darkness game using HERO, which currently has one player. I realize that the universe of gamers that want to play in a WoD game using the HERO System is probably vanishingly small, but I thought I'd try using the wit of the late great RJM Hughes to win recruits. Roger once posted the following advertisement at some FLGS's in Des Moines and actually managed to get a pretty decent response:

New White Wolf group seeks members! Looking for rude, obnoxious, drunken, dishonest, shallow, vapid, uncooperative, immature anti-social munchkins! We want the unreliable, the undependable, and the unspeakable all at once, the pot-smoking, Beavis-quoting, WIZARD-reading, Brak-singing, AOL-chatroom-joining, WWF-watching dooodes wif kewl PCs! And no chicks unless they're really hot!

(NOTE: This is an attempt at reverse psychology. Last time, I requested good, mature gamers and wound up having adventures in the moron brigade, so maybe, just maybe, if I request the opposite...)

Thanks for the info. I'm currently playing in a game that Dustin is running. He (and probably the other players) has a full dance card with respect to RPGing. I just posted a "gamers wanted" ad on the devermore.net forums; hopefully someone might respond.
