    Thank you, Curufea. My local TV station used to show all the Flash Gordon serials when I was growing up, and man, but did I ever love them, goofy SFX, nonexistent plots, and all.

    Pity they didn't show the one where the evil mad scientist invents the serum that turns black folks white. That would have gotten plenty of attention...

    That's probably why they didn't show it.

    I've never seen these shows - I don't think they made it over the oceans to us.

    I'd also like to point out - for those further interested in Lovcraftian themes in their games - the wonderful site Tales of Terror - http://www.flar.demon.co.uk/terror/tales.htm . Which is just chock-full of plot seeds for horror stories. Which can go well with pulp adventures if you merely increase the effectiveness of the PCs
