So...what "Brick Tricks" or "Speed Tricks" would you give The Super clan?

    What are "Traditional" Superman tricks?
I've considered giving him a huge VPP and calling it a day, but I'd rather actually have a few that he uses fairly often and build it with a MP.

I was also wondering if Supergirl, Superboy (Kon El), and Powergirl had different or their own well used tricks.

    I've got the easy ones:
    Instant change
    Superbreath
    any others?
How often does Supes turn coal into diamonds?

Supermans powers are so great that turning coal into diamond is about the least offensive thing he could do to the world.

What happens when America dosent have the same ideals as Superman? The world exists by his sufference after all..

    But as to super tricks

    anything

    just about covers superman
Vorsch Drach, child of the ocean

Accusation...Hero 5, Fred, a mega-scale step in the wrong direction.

Evidence... Regen, instant change, mega-scale, shape shift, multi form, duplication, multiple power-attacks, flying dodge....

While the flash has also done this,
Don't forget the variations of 'spinning really fast' which include

    Dispelling Fire/Smoke
    Tunneling
Throwing many would be grapplers off of him
and putting a cool spit curl in his hair style.
(Okay, so the flash didn't have the curl...)

I'd say that to 'accurately' design Superman, you'd just about have to include a VPP on top of a Multipower... or have a very lenient GM with a very high end 'Powers Tricks' roll (probably several for the different 'sfx').

    Commonly used tricks include:

    -Welding with heat vision
    -Super accurate throwing/hitting/movement
-Various 'super speed' tricks ("I put those cotton balls in your ears while moving through the ship so your hearing wouldn't be damaged, Lois")
-He's used the 'hit and gone so fast you can't even see him' in numerous comics
-The usual cornucopia of 'brick tricks'

There's more, but Superman:the Animated Series is about to start on Boomerang. I'll post further thoughts later...

Let's not forget the Alan Moore final issue of Action Comics volume 1, where Superman rubs his hands along the side of the stand for the Daily Planet globe turning it into a giant magnet which scoops up a team of Metallo-clones.

Here's some of those 'further thoughts'...

-Freeze Breath/Super Breath (selective between wind & cold 'sfx')
-Crazy tunneling (either 'spin' or 'super smash through')
-Massive Change Environment Powers or Megascale Transform to simulate environmental changes (I can recall his creating a hurricane on Titan, and negating various natural disasters such as Earthquakes and Volcanoes at various points)
-Extra strength for lifting, throwing, etc. Probably with a Megascale modifier option (he can throw things into Orbit, move near planetary masses, etc).
-Wonky sensory abilities (X-ray vision, microscopic vision, telescopic vision, full EM spectrum perception, HRRH for television & radio etc, ultrasonic hearing, 'super hearing', super-sensitive touch, etc etc etc)
-And all of his mighty powers become all the more potent when used in conjunction with one another (for example, he's performed X-ray vision/heat vision brain surgery before to temporarily remove an opponent's powers vs. Manchester Black)
-Super fast versions of just about any task (maybe lots of Overall Levels vs. time modifiers so he can just make a massive roll to do almost anything in one phase)

Those are all that spring to mind at the moment.

I read that one... 'Public Enemies' (Batman/Superman). Lex Luthor as POTUS = America doesn't have the same ideals as Superman. I was pretty satisfied with the outcome there, actually. 'Thanks Superman, for saving us from Luthor's despotic regime!'
