Dan - Quick question

I was taking another look at my Character Brief Template, and seeing if I could clean it up some more. I took Mole's wonderful Export Tags Document and copied the Disads section into the export template to see if there was something there I could use.

Disad Text displays the entire disad
Disad Display displays just the name of the disad
Disad Alias displays the name box
Option and Option Alias apparantly do nothing

There doesn't seem to be a tag that displays only the Limitation box.
1) Could you/would you be willing to create a tag for the Limitation, or make one of the existing tags display the "Name: Limitation"?
2) Were the Option tags designed for this? If not, what are they used for?

I asked several times before, going back to before you mentioned starting on Version 2, and you mentioned that it was do-able. You asked me to remind you, which I did, but I guess you decided to hold off because you never replied.

I completely understand that you are moving on to Version 2 now, so if this is something you would rather wait to implement in version 2, I understand. I would really appreciate it if you could throw it into version 1 though, assuming it's not a big undertaking.

For now, I guess I can just throw everything into the Name box, but it will be a huge mess when the next version comes out I'm sure.

OPTION and OPTION_ALIAS are used for any items which have an option list. None of the disads have this. I'm not sure (offhand) if the tags are even supported in the DISADS container.

I'm not going to be making any more additions to v1 at this point, but I will be revisiting how disads are handled and what export tags are available for them during the development of v2.

BTW, the Export Tags Doc that Mole made looks pretty good, but I think it may be too inclusive.

If you ever get a chance, you might want to take a look at it and maybe revise it deleting tags that don't serve any purpose in the various containers. Just as an idea. I may even undertake it myself, but I'm not as knowledgable as you regarding where things work and such.

It might even save you some time for the docs in version 2.
