I don't think Midnighter really has a 'style', he just does whatever that computer in his head tells him is the best move at the moment.
That and his stats and speed are quite a bit higher and Skeletor gets stomped.![]()
Taskmaster
Midnighter
They would team up and ummm, become mercenaries and get filthy rich.
Ok here we go.
After reading the thread of Midnighter and Captain America, I thought of another battle that may be more evenly done.
One is the ultimate fighting machine, able to analyze whatever his opponent will do and play out the fight a million times in his head before he throws his first punch.
The other possesses 'photographic reflexes' the ability to copy any figthing style just by casual observance.
I see Midnighter probably winning but he definitely be somewhat surprised by his opponent.
That is unfortunate since I really like Taskmaster.
"You know, I used to think it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? So, now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe."

Good luck copying Midnighter's moves. In fact, thats a good way for Taskmaster to kill himself.
In the TASKMASTER limited series, it was shown that if Tasky tries to copy moves from somebody moving far enough above human capacity that the unaugmented human body can't take the stress, he can potentially give himself a heart attack, or muscle and bone damage, to the point of crippling himself.
i.e. -- if he overclocks his system, he's gonna crash.
Since the Midnighter's moves assume that they're being executed by someone with muscles & ligaments like carbon nanofiber, and bones like indestructibilium metal, all at a speed and power well into the metahuman range... well, Taskmaster would probably shred his muscle fibers, snap his tendons, and crack his bones just on step one.
Hastur! Hastur! Hastur! Ia, Ia, Cthulhu fhtagn!
See, I actually think this one is less even. For the reasons others have mentioned, poor Tasky would probably get his butt handed to him. Of course, if I were writing Taskmaster, assuming he saw Midnighter at least once to guage his ablities, old skull face would have the sense to get the hell out of dodge rather than fight himOriginally Posted by starblaze
One lovable thing about Taskmaster is he may not seem the smartest guy, but he's actually got a lot of common sense for a supervillain![]()
[Londo rephrases Vir's report on the Minbari to make them look bad]
Vir Cotto: They are deeply spiritual people!
Londo Mollari: Yes, now that you can leave in. It always scares people.
