The best thing for Roleplaying I bought at Gen Con isn't a book.

    Hello everyone.

Walking around Gen Con I happend upon an intriguing little booth. I listened...loved what I heard and spent around $60.00 bucks.
What did I buy? Round magnetic markers. I have just started using these, but OMG they are so easy. Visit http://www.aleatools.com/

I can mark on the markers with any pen good enough for marking on a battlemat.
They are great for using the colors to marking CON stunned or hurt enemies by varying the color of the marker.

They are great for noting height. I use the white ones with each maker representing one hex in height.

I bought the one inch whole punch and spent $3.88 at for some 1" washers at wal-mart. Printed out some art work and with glue...wala I have my own 1" counters.

I highly reccomend these. Check them out and no I have nothing to do with the company.

This looks cool. I might have to check it out. And they're local, well - to me... will have to look for them at Tacticon next week.

Altea was next to the HERO booth at GenCon SoCal '04, and all three of 'em (not me, even though I helped,) liked their stuff, including those magnets.

"I have far too much computer junk for me to mess with magnets" is my excuse.

<Lethosos> We all do; it's just some that have a low PS level.

I looked at them, somewhat impressed. But I did not buy, a little expensive for my tastes. You have thought of the same ideas I have on how to use them.

I went and picked up the 3 GM Packs currently available, give you all 18 colors they have available (4 of each!) ... strong magnets!

they will definitely be an aid in games. I recommend them.
