    ComicBook Simple Template

I worked up a new template I call ComicBook Simple. You have to have the ComicSans font for it to display properly. It does not display any point costs, nor does it have redundant information.

It is ideal for Cons and games where you just want to know what your character can do. There are limitations, in that it is a one page sheet and overflow is hard to predict.

Only 22 skills can be displayed. Powers/EQ/MartialArts/Disads are all in one column so that's the limit there.

    Refinement requests are welcome.

EDIT: Heh, the watermark doesn't show up in a thumbnail.

While it appears this would work fine with heroic level characters, it is probably too restrictive in terms of space for super-heroic characters (unless they are very simple).

Of course, with an HTML export, you don't have control of page breaks, etc... but having fixed vertical and horizontal dimensions would probably be the cause.

No real suggestions, yet... but I give you props for trying!

I know the space is limited, but that is part of the simplicity. Defender fit on it. It is really more for demo games where you use less complex characters in general.

Just a suggestion, there's a font on Blambot called Digital Strip. It's a free font that's used for lettering (ok, so it's a comic sans rip), anyways I've tested it, does very good @ different sizes.

In a perfect world, they wouldn't need a Superman!

I like the simplicity of it. Definetly something I will try out when I get time to run demos again (probably December if all goes well). Thanks for posting it.
