Hardened Defenses

How do you make your base PD and ED Hardened? I have been making a custom power and figuring the cost in my head. Am I missing something?

It's probably easiest to use a Naked Modifier. Select that, put the cost of your PD and/or ED in the base cost box, and just apply the Hardened Advantage.

Under Powers buy 0 PD as a Power. Click the Hardened option in the Modifiers section. Click the Add Modifiers to Base Characteristic option.

Repeat for ED

This would be the method that I would recommend, though the Naked Modifier route also works in this case, if you like, though it is more difficult, IMO.
