None here in N Texas. Anyone have a chapter list? (As if I need more incentive to pique my interest.)

It is possible that I might have missed a category (I was flipping through the manuscript, not the book), or that something has been changed from the manuscript, but I think I covered them all. I believe Steve mentioned that there were some 3,300 powers listed in the book between all those categories. It seemed like more to me.
The book also has some new Adders, Advantages, and Limitations included in sidebars which expand how some of the powers from FREd can now operate.
Monolith, the Living Titan
"The HERO System is not designed to represent real life. The game is designed to represent heroic fiction as presented in comics, novels, television, and movies."
I got mine in Ohio.
Cameout Fri during my FLGS's annual 20% off sale, so I bought 2, 1 for a Christmas Gift to inspire my friends to GM again
A little over 3,300 was my count based on taking all the example powers and all the listed variants on them. If you just counted the basic example powers (not a very fair thing to do, IMO, given the utility of the variants, but that's how some people think), it would be less than that -- exactly 750, according to my quickie counting method (i.e., run a search-and-replace for a word that only occurs in a base power write-up, then have the computer tell me the number of things replaced). That means an average of 4.4 variants per power -- though the actual range is 0 to about 14, IIRC.

I just picked up a copy at Lone Star in Dallas for a friend, so it's made it to Texas![]()
I just picked up a copy today (in Winston-Salem, NC). Haven't had a chance to look through it yet (but I was quite pleased with my read-through of the playtest copy, so I assume that I will find the real thing to be useful).Originally posted by Tempuswolf

In my best child voice...
I got it! I gawt it! I gaaaaaawwwwwwt it! I gawt it!
They had five copies on the shelf at my FLGS. It was the fourth store I went to today and turned out to be the ONLY one that had it. Ironically, it was the closest; I shoulda started there first.
Anyway, I've learned my lesson with Millenium City! Since it will be a while since the next product, I'm taking my time reading this. So far, I definitely recommend it to all my friends.
I'm definitely looking forward to getting mine!

I am from Southeast Missouri and have to drive into southern Illinois to play and shop, but I did get my USPD.
WoW. What a great book. The artwork is something to behold.
Sigh....I am CON stunned again. Dang...everytime.
Yeah, the artists did a fantastic job. We've even got a new one in there -- Jonathan Davenport, the latest member of the Florida Art Mafia.
I think my favorite illo in there is Eric Lofgren's picture of Summer Cloud on page 15, but they're all really cool.

I guess that means I will be getting mine there today!
By the way, have you ever gone to the barbeque place, right up the road from Comic Book World on Shepherdsville Rd?
(Ole Hickory Pit ? I think?)
Their barbeque is pretty good.

Nemesis Incorporated: Because no man should have to be his own worst enemy!
Our school motto was:
"That which does not kill me makes me stronger."
Well, it may not have been the motto for the whole school, but it was posted prominently in the lunchroom.
