Question Where can I get it!!!

Where can I find a copy of the supplement with the GM screens, maps, etc. I know that you have no plans for reprinting, but it was barely available before all of the copies were snatched up. I recognize hero high level of service and online response is excellent. I also recognize that you have to make a profit and that your profit margin is low on this product. But it's very unavailibility speaks to its success.

    Please help!!!

Clink the link above called Hero Retailers. You will see a list of online stores which sell HERO System material. You might want to send an email to some of them to see who still has a copy or two left in their inventory. Just because the items is out of print does not mean that many stores won't have some in inventory.

I've had good luck ordering from <a href="http://www.frpgames.com">FRP Games</a>, and their site claims they have the screen in stock. It sometimes takes them two or three days to ship, but they're a lot faster than some other online game stores I could name.

Actually, we do have plans to reprint it -- but those plans are contingent on our feeling that enough demand has risen to make it feasible to print enough copies that we make a profit. The fewer we print, the more each unit costs, but if we print more than we need, we incur often-outrageous warehousing fees. Right now, if we were to reprint, we'd only need to reprint in such numbers that, by my rough calculations, the company would lose less money if we simply paid everyone who wanted a copy 50 cents not to buy it.

So, we're going to have to wait a while until demand builds. How long that's gonna take, I can't say. Likely it will be several more months at least.

In the meantime, as someone noted, try the Hero Retailers page. Just because we no longer have any more in the office doesn't mean there aren't still copies floatin' around out there at the retail level.
