I stayed at home and thankfully made it to my bed. Hope you have a prosperous New Year with more Champions sorry Hero products.

I just stayed at home with my wife and best friend and we all watched Jaws 3 (not my choice) and a few episodes from the first season of Roswell until past midnight. It was a good evening all considered.

As for a good new year, I give the same wish right back at you and all around Herodom!

I went to sleep at 2200... Of course I had to wake at 0430.

All in all, I consider that a win/win because I hate crowds and people and am officially all partied out (one more "gathering of friends" and I'm gonna kill people).

Susan came downstairs to tell me it was 12:15. Of course she slipped* and knocked a picture off the wall, so I started the year with a start.

Oh... the exciting life I lead... spent the evening watching the Law and Order: CI marathon on USA Network... then shared a midnight kiss with the wife...

Happy New Year to all... may this year bring you the things that you wish for...

I would like to wish that we all get to spend more time with our loved ones in whatever time we have left with them, that everyone have the best of health and lives with as little pain as possible.

Each moment is precious, and I wish you all many moments.

I spent the night at a friends as I was still recovering from the stomach flu. On the plus side, we played Texas Hold 'Em for hours (playing penny, nickel, dime) and I won 2 bucks!

Hung out with my sweetie over at Tina & Jason's house, and had a New Year's toast, as well as a New Year's kiss. Altogether quite nice!
Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones. -Marcus Aurelius

How strange -- thats exactly what I did, except I was also remoting in to the office to monitor some client systems and make sure they spanned the calendar year gracefully (year changes are a tricky business in benefits administration).

I dont watch much TV, but I really enjoy Law and Order: CI -- Vincent D'Onofrio's character is fascinating. No real cop would ever get away with the kind of stuff he pulls, but it makes for great TV.

We also spent a quiet night in- there are three nights out of the year that I absolutely do not go out partying: New Years, Halloween and St. Patrick's Day. *Hate* amateur drinkers trying to compete with the pros. So we got a couple nice bottles of wine, made up a bowl of chili, and watched Frankenstein movies (Bride and House)- research for the '06 All-Star event, doncha know, which debuts at Dundracon in six weeks. dw
